Whenever you are in an event space, no matter how important your current task is, you always let guests and clients go first. Step to the side, let them move freely about the event which they either paid a great sum of money to put on, or a great sum of money to attend.
There are notable exceptions:
- Health and safety emergency
- You are under the explicit instruction of the client, your leadership, or both, to move through a crowd assertively
